Pest Control in 6th of October
We work across 6th of October with an arrival window of 60 to 85 minutes. That is not measured from the office. Technicians are spread across the areas through the day and we send the closest one.
Which October do you mean?
Three cities on the New Urban Communities Authority's list carry the name: 6th of October City, New 6th of October City and October Gardens, each with its own page. The Giza governorate lists 6th of October City among its cities. The name also turns up in central Giza: the governorate lists the 6th of October Bridge among the bridges of both Agouza and Dokki districts, and Agouza has a 6th of October Garden.
Inside the city, addresses are written by district and neighbourhood, then the building: official business records use forms like First District, First Neighbourhood, or District 2, Neighbourhood 8. October Gardens addresses in the same records give October Gardens as the place, not 6th of October, which is a quick way to tell which one you are in.
Getting to you
Sixty to eighty-five minutes is the estimate in our area table for 6th of October City, counted from wherever the nearest available technician is, not from our office in New Cairo. New 6th of October City and October Gardens are separate cities on the authority's list and are not in that row, so for those the time is given on the call. Give the district and neighbourhood numbers, or the compound name, when you book.
The visit is same-day. The window is an estimate rather than a promise: if the closest technician is already on a visit we call you with the new time before anyone sets off. If a particular hour matters to you, say so when you book.
How the treatment works
Each pest has its own method. For cockroaches, bed bugs, ants, fleas and mosquitoes it is a single visit with a follow-up fifteen days later: a preventive spray at no extra charge. Cockroaches get targeted spraying at the nest the inspection finds. Bed bugs get spraying and fumigation in the same visit, after the mattress seams and bed joints are opened up. Ants are followed back to the entry point, and the nests are sprayed and sealed. Rodents are the one case for bait: closed stations along the runs, every gap wider than six millimetres sealed, and a check a week later. Ticks are treated where the animal sleeps and moves, while the animal itself goes to the vet.
Every visit begins with an inspection before anything is applied. The technician tells you which pest it is, where the focus points are and what the programme will be, and none of it starts until you have heard it. You do not need to leave the property while the work is done, because the treatment is targeted at the places the pest lives rather than sprayed across open rooms, though you will want to ventilate the treated rooms for thirty to forty-five minutes afterwards.
The guarantee, and what it does not cover
Every programme carries a 5-year written guarantee. The technician leaves a sheet with the pest, the visit date, the technician number and his signature on it, and that sheet is what a claim is checked against. It covers the same pest returning from the same source in the unit that was treated.
What it does not cover is a fresh infestation arriving from a neighbouring unit through a shared wall or a service riser. We treat your property, not the building, and where that is a real risk in 6th of October we will say so before starting rather than after it happens.
Booking a visit
Call or send a WhatsApp message with the area, the kind of property and what you have been seeing. The room and the time of day both matter. We send the nearest free technician the same day and give you the time on that call. The price is given on that call, after a few questions and always before anyone comes out. Floor area and how far the infestation has spread are what set it, so there is no fixed figure we can give sight unseen.
