Pest Control in Sheikh Zayed

Sheikh Zayed or New Zayed?
Sheikh Zayed City is one of the New Urban Communities Authority's new cities, and the Giza governorate lists it among its cities. New Zayed is a different name for a different area: housing ministry statements describe it as the city's expansion zone, and the authority keeps a separate page for the Sheikh Zayed extension. Developers keep the names apart too: SODIC lists one of its projects under Sheikh Zayed and another under New Zayed.
Inside the city, addresses are written by district and neighbourhood, then the building: official business records use forms like District 13, Neighbourhood 4, and the Central Axis is used as an address on its own. The authority also refers to gated residential communities in the city, and there the compound name and unit number are what the technician needs. One area has changed name: the housing ministry refers to Zayed Heights, formerly Beit El Watan.
Getting to you
Fifty-five to eighty minutes is the estimate in our area table for Sheikh Zayed, counted from wherever the nearest available technician is, not from our office in New Cairo, and the table note says we fix the visit hour with you on the call. New Zayed and the expansion zone are not in that row, so for those the time is given on the call. If your compound gate needs the technician's name in advance, tell us when you book.

How the treatment works
Each pest has its own method. For cockroaches, bed bugs, ants, fleas and mosquitoes it is a single visit with a follow-up fifteen days later: a preventive spray at no extra charge. Cockroaches get targeted spraying at the nest the inspection finds. Bed bugs get spraying and fumigation in the same visit, after the mattress seams and bed joints are opened up. Ants are followed back to the entry point, and the nests are sprayed and sealed. Rodents are the one case for bait: closed stations along the runs, every gap wider than six millimetres sealed, and a check a week later. Ticks are treated where the animal sleeps and moves, while the animal itself goes to the vet.
Every visit begins with an inspection before anything is applied. The technician tells you which pest it is, where the focus points are and what the programme will be, and none of it starts until you have heard it. You do not need to leave the property while the work is done, because the treatment is targeted at the places the pest lives rather than sprayed across open rooms, though you will want to ventilate the treated rooms for thirty to forty-five minutes afterwards.
The guarantee, and what it does not cover
Every programme carries a 5-year written guarantee. The technician leaves a sheet with the pest, the visit date, the technician number and his signature on it, and that sheet is what a claim is checked against. It covers the same pest returning from the same source in the unit that was treated.
What it does not cover is a fresh infestation arriving from a neighbouring unit through a shared wall or a service riser. We treat your property, not the building, and where that is a real risk in Sheikh Zayed we will say so before starting rather than after it happens.
