Where in the Fifth Settlement?
The Fifth Settlement is part of New Cairo, a city that belongs to the New Urban Communities Authority and does not appear in Cairo Governorate's list of districts. The authority's own sheet for the city lists it alongside the First Settlement, the Third Settlement and the eastern and southern extensions. Our office is at 134 Ninety Street, inside the area.
Addresses here go by district and by named area with a number. Housing Ministry statements refer to a plot in 'the Fifth District (Fifth Settlement)', to work in the Third District, and to Narges 1, 2, 4, 7 and 8, all in the Fifth Settlement. Ministry statements also name Ninety Street as two roads, North Ninety and South Ninety.
Getting to you
Ten to twenty minutes is the estimate in our area table for the Fifth Settlement, and it is counted from wherever the nearest available technician is, not from our office. When you book, give the district number or the area name with its number, and say North or South Ninety if you are on Ninety Street. The Narges extension is officially in the Third Settlement, not the Fifth, so say which Narges you mean.
The visit is same-day. The window is an estimate rather than a promise: if the closest technician is already on a visit we call you with the new time before anyone sets off. If a particular hour matters to you, say so when you book.
How the treatment works
Each pest has its own method. For cockroaches, bed bugs, ants, fleas and mosquitoes it is a single visit with a follow-up fifteen days later: a preventive spray at no extra charge. Cockroaches get targeted spraying at the nest the inspection finds. Bed bugs get spraying and fumigation in the same visit, after the mattress seams and bed joints are opened up. Ants are followed back to the entry point, and the nests are sprayed and sealed. Rodents are the one case for bait: closed stations along the runs, every gap wider than six millimetres sealed, and a check a week later. Ticks are treated where the animal sleeps and moves, while the animal itself goes to the vet.
Every visit begins with an inspection before anything is applied. The technician tells you which pest it is, where the focus points are and what the programme will be, and none of it starts until you have heard it. You do not need to leave the property while the work is done, because the treatment is targeted at the places the pest lives rather than sprayed across open rooms, though you will want to ventilate the treated rooms for thirty to forty-five minutes afterwards.
The guarantee, and what it does not cover
Every programme carries a 5-year written guarantee. The technician leaves a sheet with the pest, the visit date, the technician number and his signature on it, and that sheet is what a claim is checked against. It covers the same pest returning from the same source in the unit that was treated.
What it does not cover is a fresh infestation arriving from a neighbouring unit through a shared wall or a service riser. We treat your property, not the building, and where that is a real risk in the Fifth Settlement we will say so before starting rather than after it happens.
